Program Manager

Lead day-to-day program operations, grant portfolio management, monitoring and learning, stakeholder coordination, and results-based reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • arrow_rightLead program delivery in line with the Fund strategy, operational manual, and annual work plan.
  • arrow_rightManage the grant portfolio and implementing partners, including onboarding, work planning, contracting support, and milestone tracking.
  • arrow_rightCoordinate the full grants cycle from calls for proposals and technical review through negotiation and contracting.
  • arrow_rightMaintain clear log frames, budgets, indicators, reporting requirements, and the Fund monitoring framework.

  • arrow_rightLiaise with government, civil society, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, donors, and technical partners.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree or equivalent in environmental management, climate policy, development studies, natural resource management, economics, social sciences, or a related field.

Experience: At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, grants management, or MEL in climate, environmental, or sustainable development contexts.

Required: Fluency in English and French, strong computer skills, and excellent organisational and communication skills.

Reporting line

Reports to the Fund Coordinator and works closely with Finance, Programs, and Operations teams as applicable.

Support the Fund's office coordination, documentation, procurement and logistics, travel arrangements, meetings, and general administrative services.

  • arrow_rightHandle incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain trackers for documents and action items.
